The project “Wildlife Observation and Development of Related Ecotourism Services in the VayotsDzor Province” is launched

Observation of wild animals including usage of hides, organization of day and night tours are innovative approach in the tourism sector of Armenia. It is widespread throughout the world and attracts the interest of professional photographers, observers and tourists. It creates income for service providers.

The main goal of this project is to create infrastructure for wildlife observation and enhance ability and skills of local people for creating additional income through ecotourism, promoting friendly behaviour towards wildlife and supporting nature conservation.

In the frame of the project, two wildlife observation portable and floating hides, as well as various activities for strengthening ecotourism capacity of local people will be implemented.

The project “Wildlife Observation and Development of Related Ecotourism Services in the VayotsDzor Province” is implemented by the “Armenian Society of Biologists” NGO.

“The sub-grant is implemented in the frames of Bridge4CSOs project led by AGBU in partnership with EPF and funded by the European Union”.
